The Urban Botanist is a plant company specialising in supplying fully assembled terrariums across the UK. They approached myself and fellow Graphic Designer Jordan Yates to design a sub-brand for The Urban Botanist which would be the face of their new subscription service.
We were in charge of the naming and brand identity for the new sub-brand. After brainstorming a range of ideas, the name 'The Botany Club' was chosen. We liked the fact that not only does it feel closely linked with the original brand name, but it also shortens down to 'TBC' which is widely known as a shortened version of 'to be continued' which we felt successfully mimics the nature of a subscription service being delivered on a regular basis.
